This lecture gives an overview of the power of the humanities, and more specifically of the Humanities’ skills and competences, in today’s global job markets. It presents a definition and vision for the humanities useful to the future leaders of the so called fourth industrial revolution (World Economic Forum); the branding and structure necessary to accomplish such vision; and new interdisciplinary degrees and curricula in applied humanities and intercultural competence.
