Ice-mooncake workshop, the first activity in this semester provided by the English Language Centre, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, was held on Tuesday, September 20th. There were 19 students who joined this workshop and they all had a chance to know different new vocabularies and the procedures to make ice-mooncakes. Also they communicated with their classmates in a relaxing environment. This workshop started with a Q&A section in which students could know more about the Mid-Autumn festival. Following this, we displayed the different ingredients for the mooncake-making. At the same time, students got to learn the vocabularies. Then, we made mooncakes together following the instructions. At the end of the workshop, there was a competition to see whose mooncake is the best design. Students had a good time making mooncakes and talking with each other. Below are some selected photos of the workshop.
