Movie Night, the second activity in this semester provided by the English Language Centre, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, was held on Friday, September 23. There were 25 students who joined this workshop and they all practiced their listening skills. This workshop started with a light dinner in which students could greet and converse with each other in a very agreeable, relaxing circumstance. Following this, students enjoyed a movie called “Into the Wild” together. In the movie, they not only appreciated the geographical views in the US and learned related vocabularies, but also were exposed to different insights regarding the relationship between individuals and nature/society. Students left inspired to reflect on their own college life. Below are some selected photos of the workshop.
