DESCRIPTION:Organizational units: University of Macau (UM)’s Department of Portuguese (DPORT) and the Chinese-Portuguese Bilingual Teaching and Training Centre (CPC)\, with the Department of Portuguese Language of the China Radio International (CRIpor) \nPeriod: Continue to be updated (15 episodes) \nPurpose and objective of the radio talk: The program\, titled “Chinese Ideas”\, will offer a systematic introduction to a group of major thinkers and works which shaped the Chinese intellectual tradition. It is aimed at the Portuguese-speaking general public and requires no previous knowledge of Chinese. The broadcasts are multidisciplinary in scope\, providing the necessary background to put authors and ideas in their appropriate cultural context. DESCRIPTION:EWCC Opens from January 21 to May 17 for Spring 2021 \nThe English Writing and Communication Centre (EWCC)\, a sub-unit of the English Language Centre (ELC) of Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH)\, offers one-on-one consultation service to UM students to help them with their writing and communication skills. \nStudents are welcome to bring in their writing or speaking projects of any genre at any stage of their work creation processes. \nFor Spring 2021\, the Centre opens from January 21 to May 17\, 2021.
