FAH student receives Young Scholar Award at 6th International Symposium on Sinological Research of East Asia

4 Jun 2015

Zhang Yuanyuan, a PhD student from the University of Macau (UM) Department of Chinese Language and Literature, recently received the Young Scholar Award at the Sixth International Symposium on Sinological Research of East Asia. This is the first time that a scholar from the Hong Kong and Macao region has received an award at this symposium. Hosted by UM’s Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), this year’s event attracted 53 scholars from Japan, South Korea, the United States, mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. 50 paper covering a wide range of topics were presented at the symposium.
