Professor Inocência Mata receives FEMINA Prize

Prof Inocência Mata from the University of Macau’s (UM) Department of Portuguese received the FEMINA Prize 2015 for her work in Lusophone literature as a researcher and professor.

Prof Mata’s work in the area of Literature of the Portuguese-speaking World and Postcolonial Studies is internationally known through her teaching and publications. She has been a visiting professor at many universities all over the world, including Europe, Africa, and America (the United States, Canada, and Brazil) where she has been teaching African Literatures and Cultures. At UM she teaches courses in Literary and Cultural Studies and Lusophone Literatures.

Established in 2010, the FEMINA Prize aims to recognise Portuguese women and women from other Lusophone countries who work in different fields of professional, cultural, and humanitarian activities in the world, as well as to promote knowledge production and its relation to other cultures.

澳門大學人文學院葡文系Inocência Mata教授獲葡萄牙文化及知識推廣組織Matriz Portuguesa頒發FEMINA葡語文學成就獎,以表彰她在葡語文學研究和教學方面的傑出貢獻。

Mata教授在葡語世界文學及後殖民研究領域的研究成果著作甚豐。她曾在歐洲、非洲、美洲(美國、加拿大和巴西)及世界其他地區的多間大學擔任客座教授,教授非洲文學和文化課程。她在澳大教授文學與文化研究,以及葡語文學方面的課程。

FEMINA葡語文學成就獎於2010年創立,旨在表彰葡國和其他葡語國家的女性在全球各領域的工作,對知識的探討和發掘,以及構建葡語文化交流平台作出的貢獻。
