Prof Inocência Mata from the University of Macau’s (UM) Department of Portuguese received the FEMINA Prize 2015 for her work in Lusophone literature as a researcher and professor.
Prof Mata’s work in the area of Literature of the Portuguese-speaking World and Postcolonial Studies is internationally known through her teaching and publications. She has been a visiting professor at many universities all over the world, including Europe, Africa, and America (the United States, Canada, and Brazil) where she has been teaching African Literatures and Cultures. At UM she teaches courses in Literary and Cultural Studies and Lusophone Literatures.
Established in 2010, the FEMINA Prize aims to recognise Portuguese women and women from other Lusophone countries who work in different fields of professional, cultural, and humanitarian activities in the world, as well as to promote knowledge production and its relation to other cultures.
澳門大學人文學院葡文系Inocência Mata教授獲葡萄牙文化及知識推廣組織Matriz Portuguesa頒發FEMINA葡語文學成就獎，以表彰她在葡語文學研究和教學方面的傑出貢獻。
