Aims
The object of the minor is to provide a solid foundation in English literature and in the structure and function of English as a social phenomenon.
Features
The minor is based on the core courses of the BA in English Studies. The core courses offer a balanced emphasis on literature and linguistics. Students will engage with a wide variety of literature written in English and examine a range of issues concerning the functioning of the English language.

Graduation Requirements
Obtaining the English Studies minor will require the completion of 8 compulsory courses (24 credits) and 2 elective courses (6 credits). A total of 30 credits are required to obtain the minor.
