The English Language Centre (ELC) is now presenting you the Note-taking Workshop to be held on 25 October, 2019. This workshop aims to help students learn how to take notes in class in a more efficient way.

In this workshop, students will understand the basic idea of note-taking skill, learn five types of commonly used symbols in note-taking, apply symbols mentioned above in exercises at different levels, and develop the habit of using symbols in note-taking for more productive class learning.

Please come and join us! 1 SP, 15 CS and a notebook will be given to the fully participated students. Snacks and drinks will also be provided!

*All UM students are welcome to join, especially for those who have not learned note-taking skill before.
