Rodrigo Leal de Carvalho (1932-2026), judge and writer, lived in Macau for 30 years. He published eight novels depicting Macanese society and the impact of the war. We will therefore discuss this writer’s contribution to Portuguese-Chinese literary and cultural exchange, but also to the dialogue between all the cultural and identity diversity that characterises the territory.
