FAH/DPHIL: The Mario Echano Prize for the Best Undergraduate Philosophy Essay
The Mario Echano Prize for the Best Undergraduate Philosophy Essay is awarded for excellence in philosophy. Students enrolled in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies undergraduate courses are eligible to enter an essay for the annual award. Students are invited to submit an academic essay written as an assignment in one of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies’ undergraduate courses this academic year (AY2024/2025). Essays of any length are acceptable. The organisers reserve the right not to award the prize if essays are not of sufficiently high standard. ELC-EWCC: “Library DROP-IN Tuesday”
Dear students, What’s your new year resolution for your academic studies? Have you ever explored the UM library, and have you ever met with any tutors at the English Writing and Communication Center (EWCC)? This semester, the writing centre EWCC will collaborate with the UM library to provide quick consultation support. 3rd FAH Macao Humanities Roundtable of the University of Macau
The 3rd FAH Macao Humanities Roundtable will be held on 7 May 2025. . As one of the major events in FAH, the Roundtable aims to foster collegiality in the faculty and serves as an excellent platform for FAH colleagues and Ph.D. students to share and showcase their research with UM members. There will be parallel sessions in E21A-G035, E21A-G039 and E21A-G049 (SI LAB). The 37 excellent presentations are grouped into 12 sessions.
