Faculty booth at N1 Multi-Function Hall

The University of Macau held the annual event “Principals’ Recommended Admission Briefing” for undergraduate admissions on 28th September 2024, attracting students from local high schools along with their parents and teachers. The Principals’ Recommended Admission (PRA) scheme is a key admission channel for high school students seeking entry to UM.

FAH staff and students worked together at the programme consultation booths in the N1 Multi-Function Hall to promote our undergraduate programmes and address inquiries from students and their parents. A guided faculty tour was conducted in faculty building (E21A), featuring a demonstration of eye-tracker, a cutting-edge tool for data collection in areas such as second language acquisition, translation and interpreting, and art appreciation. Through this guided tour, visitors were introduced to the facilities, features and unique culture of FAH.

The event provided not only valuable information about the academic programmes but also offered potential students the opportunity to interact with professors from their fields of interest and gain deeper insights into their chosen disciplines.
