The University of Macau (UM) held its annual Principals’ Recommended Admission (PRA) Talk for undergraduate admissions on 27th September 2025, drawing enthusiastic participation from local high school students, parents and teachers.

Organised by UM in collaboration with all faculties, the event welcomed prospective students and provided comprehensive information on admission pathways and academic offerings.

At University Hall, Assistant Dean Prof. Victoria Lai Cheng Lei delivered the PRA briefing, introducing the PRA scheme—a key admission pathway for high school students—and providing an overview of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) undergraduate programmes. The session set the tone  for a day of exploration and engagement.

Following the briefing, FAH staff and students hosted programme consultation booths in the N1 Multi-Function Hall, answering enquiries from prospective students and their families. The FAH building (E21A) was also open for guided tours of key facilities, such as the Black Box Theatre, Learning Commons, Port-Club and Simultaneous Interpreting Laboratory (SI Lab), where an eye-tracker  Demonstration was available. Through the tours, visitors learned about FAH’s interdisciplinary research, facilities, and distinctive learning culture.

The event not only provided valuable information, but also gave prospective students the opportunity to engage directly with relevant professors and to gain deeper insights into their chosen disciplines.
