The University of Macau (UM) Confucius Institute has launched a Cultural Ambassador programme, which aims to recruit interested UM students to form a group of cultural ambassadors. Around 150 undergraduate and postgraduate students have applied to join the programme. The institute will select about 40 students, provide them with etiquette training, and arrange for them to participate in UM’s cultural events to promote traditional Chinese culture. Upon completion of the programme, students will receive a certificate from the institute.
