Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the University of Macau: FAH – Centre for Japanese Studies Lecture on Japanese Studies #2
Centre for Japanese Studies invited Prof. Kanemoto Satoshi from the Department of Japanese Language and Culture, College of Global and Regional Culture, Okinawa International University to deliver a zoom guest lecture on “Tips for Learning Japanese-Case Studies of Misuse of Japanese Learners of Chinese, and of Chinese Learners of Japanese” on 20th October 2021.
More than 130 Japanese Studies major students and academics participated in this lecture. During the lecture, Prof. Kanemoto analyzed the examples of misuse and the distinctive trend of the misuse of each language, and Introduced the Japanese corpus as useful resources in the language environment where native check are limited. All applicants are fascinated by the potential of the language learning tool and some students gave their unique perspective on the point of the practical use.
