| Content | : | This lecture will provide an overview of Macao’s artistic ecosystem and the operation of its public funding system. It will compare the curatorial considerations involved in working with public art spaces versus independent spaces, and share practical experiences in exhibition implementation across different institutions. At the same time, it will offer recommendations and reminders for emerging artists and curators who wish to plan and realize exhibitions in Macao. The lecture will also review the development of the Macao Biennial and “Art Macao,” exploring how these initiatives have gradually shaped the city’s current artistic and curatorial landscape. |
