“EWCC Communication Month” 2023

Hello UM students! Exciting news from the English Writing and Communication Centre (EWCC), English Language Centre of FAH!

In March 2023, EWCC is holding our first-ever “Communication Month” to celebrate the joy of speaking and effective communication! Our theme this year is:  “Sit Down, Speak Up.” Our featured activities include an Open House event, three workshops in the “Guest Talk Series” and three workshops in the “Academic Workshop Series”.

Our Open House on 8th March welcomes students to freely drop by at EWCC. Students can know more about EWCC and have fun speaking English. This day will mark the onset of the Communication Month. The rest of our activities throughout the month will give students the opportunity to “sit down” among peers and “speak up”, putting what they have learned in the workshops into practice. Students who excel in these activities will be awarded book coupons as prizes.

To learn more about our workshop series, check out our posters! Students will receive a certificate of completion from the ELC if they have full participation in the guest talk series (3 workshops) or the academic workshop series (3 workshops).
