FAH-ELC Student Activity: ELC Board Game Workshop

Learning English isn’t always the most fun task in the world, but with board games, it can be! ELC is glad to hold a board game workshop to facilitate a meaningful and interesting English learning process for UM students. Playing board games puts the focus on students’ interactions, which will improve their vocabulary, discussion techniques, and communication skills.

During the process of solving crimes in the CS FILES, students are encouraged to work through the challenges with ample speaking opportunities. By means of role-play conversations, students will be able to practice using their vocabulary, including location, duration, daily supplies, and crime-related words, improve critical thinking in evidence collection and investigation, and practice communication skills in discussion and presentation.
