The General Education (GE) curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation that fosters successful behaviors and promotes lifelong learning. It equips students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their future careers while also broadening their horizons to develop well-rounded individuals as well as to develop a well-rounded education, enhancing their understanding of various disciplines beyond their major.

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) has consistently offered a diverse array of GE courses in the humanities each semester. These courses provide students with a wide range of learning opportunities and practical knowledge that can be applied in everyday life. The core mission of the GE curriculum is to offer essential background and skills that students can build upon in their specialized fields.

To further enhance the GE experience, senior professors from various FAH units have been delivering a series of lectures on special topics related to GE courses since the second semester of the academic year 2022/2023. This lecture series creates a unique platform for students to engage with senior professors, fostering a deeper interest in the GE program and encouraging students to explore more in-depth knowledge.
