Japanese Language and Culture Program was held from 29th June to 8th July, 2016 at Kagoshima Asia-Pacific Intercultural Countryside Center (KAPIC Center) in Kagoshima prefecture, Japan. Center for Japanese Studies has continuously sent students since 1997 and this year nine students of UMAC were participated in this event. They enjoyed experiencing Japanese culture, such as Tea Ceremony and Wearing Kimono, and also visited a local high school and a university and exchange with the students using Japanese language skills learned at UMAC. In the weekend, they stayed with Japanese host family and experienced Japanese family life.

夏の交流イベントの2つ目の鹿児島県アジア太平洋農村研修センターでの日本語・日本文化研修にマカオ大学から9名の学生が参加しました。20年近く続くこの研修では、今までにマカオ大学の授業で習った日本語を使って、鹿児島県の高校生、大学生と交流したり、日本文化として茶道を体験したりしました。また、週末はホームステイもあり、日本の家庭生活を体験しました。
