The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the University of Macau held a delightful Christmas buffet lunch on December 16, 2022 at the Mistral Restaurant in Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16.
The event was attended by professors and PhD Philosophy students of the department who all enjoyed the sumptuous feast and celebratory atmosphere. Sofitel Hotel’s jovial decorations of lighted trees, white reindeers, and hanging lights added to the effect of festive ambiance.
The meal provided a wonderful opportunity for the faculty and students to come together, mingle, and celebrate the holiday season. The gathering was filled with lively conversation, and of course, a variety of delicious food. The Eastern and Western cuisines were fitting for the philosophical orientations of the department.
Mistral Restaurant’s exceptional service and hospitality helped make the lunch a memorable occasion. The department looks forward to hosting similar events in the future, which will continue to strengthen the bonds between faculty and students and foster a sense of community within the department.
