The travels of Marco Polo symbolize a rich tradition of cultural encounter between China and the West. On the 7th centenary of death, the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies, UM and the Macau Ricci Institute co-organized this symposium to celebrate Marci Polo’s legacy and the cultural exchange from the 13th century to the present date. Presentations were given by 10 scholars from the world.
