Zhang Jiyang receives a third prize for her paper on Chinese language education for foreigners
Zhang Jiyang, a master’s student from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Macau (UM), recently received a third prize in the outstanding paper category at a forum for PhD students who specialise in Chinese language education for foreigners. Zhang was the only first-year master’s student to receive this award. This year’s forum received 135 paper submissions from 35 universities in China and abroad, including Peking University, Beijing Language and Culture University, Minzu University of China, and Beijing Foreign Studies University.
