通識教育課程旨在培養學生終生學習的能力，為學生未來的事業發展提供助力，更能拓展學生視野、幫助學生更好地學生全面發展。
人文學院一如以往為學生開設一系列與人文相關範疇的通識科目，為學生提供更多學習機會，並學以致用。這一系列課程的目的是讓學生掌握一些基礎且必備的技能，使學生能在專業學科的學習過程中靈活運用。
有鑒於此，學院邀請本院資深教授由2022/2023學年第二學期開始開設一系列通識課程專題講座，藉此機會讓大一、大二學生提供更多機會接觸資深教授，讓學生更深入了解通識課程的知識體系。
