Organization: CETAPS (NOVA FCSH), CIELA (University of Macau), CCCM (Lisbon).
Narrating the Pearl River Delta is an online international conference jointly organized by CETAPS (Center for English Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies) of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and CIELA (Research Centre for Luso-Asian Studies) of the Department of Portuguese, University Macau, in collaboration with CCCM (Macau Scientific and Cultural Centre, in Lisbon, Portugal).
The conference will convene international scholars researching on visual and written representations of the Pearl River Delta, specifically on Macau, Hong Kong and Guangzhou, from different periods, regarding materials ranging from travel writings, literary works, historical documents, and press publications, to photography.
Working languages: English and Portuguese.
