FAH-ELC Student Activities: “EWCC Communication Month” 2023 Hello UM students! Exciting news from the English Writing and Communication Centre (EWCC), English Language Centre of FAH! In March 2023, EWCC is holding our first-ever “Communication Month” to celebrate the joy of speaking and effective communication! Our theme this year is: “Sit Down, Speak Up.” Our featured activities include an Open House event, three workshops in the “Guest Talk Series” and three workshops in the “Academic Workshop Series”. Our Open House on 8th March welcomes students to freely drop by at EWCC. Students can know more about EWCC and have fun speaking English. This day will mark the onset of the Communication Month. FAH-ELC Student Activity: EELC2008 Poster Sessions Week (March 6th and 7th, 2023) Students from ELC’s Academic Speaking Classes (EELC2008) will be hosting POSTER SESSIONS in the E4 Lobby, Ground Floor. Part of their semester coursework is to engage about a topic of interest to the larger community through an informative poster board. Please come out and support them from 9:30am - 6:00pm on March 6th and 7th (Monday and Tuesday). Feel free to interact with the students about their poster. In preparation, it requires speakers to focus on the given topics, search for relevant information, and organize their thoughts in little given time. The presentation requires students to deliver their points of view along with supporting information.
